Tard Slide by J-Cartoons

Daily Deviation
Awarded January 28th, 2010
I couldn't just watch this animation once, I had to keep watching it again and again and again... The animation is very smooth, and the little bump at the end is so adorable, and the tard is so eager to go slide again, too!

Just... A Little... Higher... by =Royaba is a pretty well example of nice shading, flawless animation and an interesting idea ! I especially love the "jelly" effect on the emoticon !

Orbit Buddy by J-Cartoons

Daily Deviation
Awarded January 6th, 2011
Orbit Buddy by =Royaba is one of the moste amazing emoticons I have ever seen. Not only the animation is fluent and the pixelling is really well done but the way it looks, makes me smile instantly. Simple yet , how much effect it has ! Wish everyone has buddies like that !

If you make unoriginal work and then beg people to give you critique, don't throw a hissy fit when the words are unflattering.
Jurassic World's Mini Turtle by AbalamAnderson
Excuse my language but this is fucking weak, I mean you really ran that famous photo through a filter, Also bonus points for going out of your way to guilt people into giving you feedback. Bold move, good initiative.

It's really amazing how you created a embossed, smeared duplicate of a picture from the internet and added sparkles! Honestly, it's definitely clear why the trailer for "Jurassic World" inspired this. I can totally see how this completely unrelated image fits within the context you described.

And so unique! I've definitely never seen such an outstandingly flat image produced by referencing a photo with such a shallow depth of field. The way every element has that same not-quite-swirly/looks-like-I-just-went-crazy-with-the-smudge-tool-then-embossed aesthetic is just plain visionary!

Has the Rebrandening begun?

Hey everybody. As I transition from student to professional, I'm trying to unite as many of my social media pages under the new name J-Cartoons. It started after my good friend Harrison (Spalding004) recommended I get a twitter to serve as an info hub for my various exploits. Since my real name is incredibly common, I settled on the handle J_Cartoons and the rebrandening began! I secured the tumblr, changed my name here, and voila! J Cartoons was born.

There were a few places where I couldn't secure the name so I'll be sticking with their current locations
